Company
Friedrich Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH, known as FMW for short, was founded in 1948 in Remshalden near Stuttgart. The family-run company has been developing and producing riveting machines and assembly systems for the automotive, hardware and electrical industries for more than 75 years.
FMW Friedrich laid the foundation for a riveting process that is still the most effective and economical today.
The radial point riveting technique was patented for FMW Friedrich in 1966.
